AEC Rules
1. After entering the Alternative Education Center (AEC) room: sign in and get assignment sheets for ALL of your teachers.

2. If this is your first time in AEC, you will need to get a copy of the rules and copy them onto your own paper to be turned in to the instructor.

3. Sit in your assigned desk properly: upright and facing forward at all times with all chair legs on the ground.

4. You must raise your hand and be given permission by the instructor before speaking or leaving your desk.

5. There is absolutely no talking without permission, no sleeping, no laying on the desk, no eating, no chewing gum, and no passing notes.

6. There will be a serious penalty for any student caught writing on any of the desk, chair, or other school property. Each area is inspected before being assigned in the morning.

7. No student is allowed to turn around at any time or look at other students, nor play with other students or objects. Days will be added for such occurrences.

8. There are only two restrooms breaks, one in the morning during 3rd Period and one in the afternoon during 7th period. There are no exceptions to this rule.

9. When going to the restroom there is absolutely no talking. Looking into classrooms or playing with lockers is also forbidden.

10. All assignments from teachers and AEC instructors must be completed before a student can return to regular classes, this may result in additional AEC days.

11. Students in AEC will not be allowed to participate in any extracurricular or co-curricular activities.

12. There are no warnings in AEC, offenders will be written up and sent to the Assistant Principal on the first occurence.

13. All trash will remain at the desk until the end of the day in a pile on the top shelf.

14. There will be no coloring or drawing unless assigned by a teacher.

15. You must be working at all times, either on work for your teachers or work assigned by the AEC instructor.
