Our homework folder goes home on Monday and is due back on Friday. Our homework content is Letter of the Week, Number of the Week, concepts being studied and our Weekly Sight Words. Please have pencils, crayons, and other supplies at home and encourage your child to do his/her best even on homework. I don't take a grade, but it is extra practice in the skills we are studying. We should see an improvement in your child's abilities in handwriting and coloring as time goes on, if he/she is doing his/her best on each assignment given. Also, sight word practice will benefit your child in reading, don't forget to practice those words, also. I have enclosed a sheet to list books that you have read to your child. This is strictly if you want to do so, but is very helpful in showing your child that reading is important.
